Items of personal nature
 

Enjoy your stay and ensure that you pack all of your belongings upon departure, as management will not be held liable for any lost/stolen item.  Should items not be collected within 14 days of departure, the items will have to be dispatched at the guest’s own cost.
 

Marketing
 

Use of photos taken at our Lodge; we reserve the right to these images for marketing purposes. 

Kindly obtain permission should you wish to use these images or videos for commercial use or publication.

Kindly inform management at Doringpoort Lodge should you not consent to the use of your reviews or photos taken with our staff during your stay.

We will obtain permission for the use of images with children under 16yrs of age.

Rates are subject to change.

Rates are per person sharing where applicable.

Keys will be collectable at the main house during the above arrival times.  If possible, kindly advise us of your estimated time of arrival, so that we can ensure that you receive your keys immediately upon arrival.  No book-in will be accepted after 19:00pm at night.

Kindly adhere to this as our valuable staff need to be able to finalize duties before the next guest arrive.


Same Day Bookings
 

We do accept same-day bookings, when the proof of payment can be presented upon arrival.

The cut off time for same day bookings is 15h00 (03:00pm)


Deposit Policy


Deposit of 100% on bookings made less than 7 days prior to arrival.

1 night stay 100% of the booking amount.

7 - 13 days prior to arrival = 30%

14 to 20 days prior to arrival = 25%

21 days prior to arrival = 20%.


Cancellation Policies
 

7 Days before arrival = forfeit 80% of the amount paid.

14 Days before arrival = forfeit 60% of the amount paid.

21 Days before arrival = forfeit 40% of the amount paid.

28 Days before arrival = forfeit 20% of the amount paid.


Quotations and Invoices


We use a ‘subject-to-availability’ system, meaning we cannot hold rooms for every quotation that is sent. 


Group bookings


Group bookings need to submit a special request.  We run a peaceful environment where people come to unwind and recharge, therefore any loud noises will not be tolerated, as all guests and our wildlife need to be respected at all times.  

 

Discounts


Direct bookings will receive a 10% discount on bookings made.

Pensioners and/or private bookings will receive a 10% discount on bookings made.  Only one discount special per booking.

7 Days Plus - 10% Discounts

14 Days Plus - 20% Discounts

or

21 Days Plus - 30% Discounts


Child Policy


0 – 6 Years = No Rate

7 – 13 Years = Child Rate Applies

14 Years Up = Adult Rate Applies


Daily ‘light’ cleaning during your stay (including dishes) 9:00am to 21:00am

Clean towels on request
 

Stays longer than 7 days, bedding change will take place.


Electricity & Water


Kindly ensure that we respect the use of electricity and water by closing taps correctly and switching off unnecessary lights/air-cons.
 

Generator - We have a Generator on standby (45kVa)


Breakage


Kitchens are fully equipped with all the essentials (Should you prefer bring along your big pots and coffee machine to start your day).  Keep in mind to please respect the appliances in the units.

All items found missing or broken will be charged before departure, therefore staff will start checking before departure time.  In the event of early departures, we reserve the right to charge for any missing or broken items.


Additional​


Our property is +/- 200m walk from the Crocodile River border, where you can take a 5km walk next to the Kruger fence.

We are in the process of finalizing our payment portal; therefore all additional payments under R100.00 will be accepted via cash.  However, any additional payments exceeding R100.00 must be deposited directly into our bank via EFT as we prefer to not keep cash on our premises.
 

Kindly give all tips directly to management to ensure a fair distribution, as our staff function as a team on a daily basis.

Kindly note that we make use of a ‘green product’ for pest control.
 

This is a malaria area.  Kindly ensure you check directly with your doctor about medication options and insect repellent.

Kindly bring your own medication as our staff are not at liberty to offer guests any medication.  Marloth Park does have a medic on stand-by, however he is only at liberty to stabilize. The nearest Dr is in Komatipoort and Tonga hospital.
